Description
This striking table lamp, an elegant example of Swedish Modern design, was produced by Falkenbergs Belysning in the late 1950s. The lamp is stamped with the model number 6407 and the manufacturers initials FLB on the bottom of the base.
The design is defined by its solid oak frame, consisting of a circular base and a geometric, tapered column set at a slight angle. A brass joint connects the column to the shade, allowing for easy adjustment of the light direction. The cone-shaped shade, crafted from metal and lacquered in a soft light grey, creates a refined contrast with the warmth of the wood. The lamp is operated via a small push-button switch integrated into the wooden base, adding to its minimalist functionality.
It remains in very good original condition with only minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. Currently fitted with 220V European wiring. -
