Description
This rare floor lamp was produced by Elit AB in Sweden in the 1960s. It retains its original manufacturer’s label on the underside of the base.
The design features a sculptural stacked column composed of repeating flared, hourglass-shaped brass elements, creating an elegant undulating rhythm and strong decorative presence. Crafted in solid brass, the surface has a warm tone with a light, even patina consistent with age, adding depth and character. The column rests on a circular brass base, providing a balanced and harmonious foundation to the vertical form.
The lamp is paired with a cylindrical shade that complements the silhouette. The silk-textured fabric provides a soft, diffused light.
The piece remains in good original condition and features a newly made custom shade. Brass with a light, natural patina consistent with age. Currently wired for 220V European use with a standard E26/E27 bulb fitting.
