This very special crafted organic modern/ contemporary sink impresses with an outstanding natural shape and amazing coloration in black and beige tones. The inside as well as the outside of the sink shows a polished surface with amazing looking natural built patterns while the live edge impress with its rough petrified look.
Petrification is the result of a tree having been replaced by stone via a mineralization process that often includes permineralization and replacement. The organic materials making up cell walls have been replicated with minerals. Unlike other plant fossils, which are typically impressions or compressions, petrified wood is a three-dimensional representation of the original organic material which took millions of years to built.
