Description
This rare table or desk lamp was designed by Börje Lindau and Bo Lindekrantz and produced by Zero Belysning, Sweden, in the 1970s. The piece retains its original manufacturer’s sticker on the base.
The lamp is distinguished by its ring-shaped base and lacquered, perforated metal shade with a slightly flared, disc-like form that diffuses light softly and evenly. Its chrome-plated tubular steel stem, bent into a minimalist sculptural loop, creates a sense of balance and visual lightness. The shade positioning can be tilted and adjusted to direct light as desired.
The design is both industrial and refined, combining functionality with playful geometry, typical of Swedish lighting design of the era. Its generous proportions make it a striking statement piece for a desk, sideboard, or bedside table.
The lamp remains in very good, completely original condition, showing only minor signs of age and use consistent with careful preservation. -
