Description
Rare spherical lamp in blue glass by Roberto Menghi (1920-2006).
The lamp was designed in 1968 and made by Venini (the original adhesive mark is present on the globe). The lamp consists of a large blue glass sphere, fixed by three screws to a satin aluminum base.
The lamp is in good condition: there are no cracks or dents on the glass. However, as can be seen from the photographs, the blue color of the sphere tends to pale in the upper part. Furthermore, with the lamp on, a horizontal line is visible, probably an internal scratch, which is not visible with the light off.
