Very faint craquelure, observed under raking light primarily in figure's hair. UV examined very minor touches of inpaint to figure's nose. Undulations through canvas, observed under raking light. Framed under Tru Vue Museum glass.

Georgia Warren was born in Davenport Iowa
In 1924 she won a scholarship to study art in New York City at the National Academy of Design at 1083 Fifth Avenue. In the late 1920's and 1930s she contributed to Physical Culture Magazine a Macfadden Publication and did cover art for Photoplay Magazine, True Experiences, True Romance, True Story, Dream World Love & Romance, and Radio Mirror, as well as Liberty Magazine, All-Story Love Tales. In late 1920's she moved to East Hampton and opened The Georgia Warren School of Portraiture. Later she taught at the Ringling School of Art for portraiture. In 1945 her work was included in a Women's Show at the National Academy of Design in NY.
