Description
This very rare table lamp was designed by Gunnar Nylund and produced by Strömbergshyttan in Sweden in the 1960s.
The elegant design consists of a spherical shaped base in bubble glass. The seeded glass, filled with suspended air bubbles, gives the base a fluid, luminous presence. The empire shaped shade is custom-made in a pale sage silk fabric by Colefax & Fowler.
The lamp is in overall very good condition with updated 220V wiring and a regular E26/E27 bulb fitting. Renewed shade.
