Description
Striking pair of ceramic table lamps designed by Bitossi and produced for Bergboms during the 1960s. The lamps feature cylindrical forms with subtly tapered necks, finished in a reflective gilt glaze with richly textured hand-worked surfaces.
Each body is adorned with embossed medallion motifs inspired by Renaissance and sunburst ornamentation, giving the lamps a sculptural and architectural presence. The highly reflective metallic glaze contrasts beautifully with the understated texture of the custom shades, creating a warm and sophisticated light.
