Description
A classic Thams leather armchair in good condition. The seat and back cushions are genuine leather, flawless, and have a beautiful patina. The back, sides, and armrests are finished in black imitation leather, typical of the period. The armrests show a slight patina. The armchair stands on dark brown wooden legs and offers good seating comfort.
The Danish designer Gustav Thams realized many designs for his own company. Thams Kvalitet was one of the leading Danish manufacturers in the 1970s and, in addition to leather armchairs, primarily specialized in the production of teak furniture. However, he also worked for other furniture manufacturers and was one of the most influential designers in Scandinavian design. -
