Mid-Century Hand-Blown Murano Opalescent & Cerulean Detail Glass Chandelier

This Mid-Century Modernist hand-blown Murano chandelier in opalescent glass with cerulean blue detailing, crafted in Italy circa 1960, is a stunning example of the artistry and craftsmanship for which Murano glassmakers are renowned. Combining exquisite materials and thoughtful design, this chandelier radiates elegance and sophistication. The chandelier is composed of hand-blown opalescent glass, which exhibits a delicate, milky iridescence that shifts with the light, creating a luminous and dynamic effect. The glass is skillfully designed with a textural surface, adding depth and dimension to the overall composition. Accents of cerulean blue detailing provide a vibrant contrast against the soft opalescent tones, further emphasizing the chandelier’s artisanal quality. The flowing, sculptural design reflects the organic yet modern aesthetic characteristic of the Mid-Century Modern movement, while its Italian roots highlight a legacy of exceptional craftsmanship. Suspended elegantly, this chandelier provides a warm, diffused glow, making it a perfect centerpiece for dining spaces, living rooms, or entryways. This Murano chandelier is a timeless work of functional art, capturing the essence of mid-century Italian design. It is an ideal choice for collectors and those seeking to bring a touch of luxurious, handcrafted beauty to their interiors.
