Fritz Hansen is a Danish furniture company founded in 1872 by a Danish carpenter of the same name. In 1934, Fritz Hansen began to collaborate with Arne Jacobsen to produce several famous designs including the Ant, the Swan and the Egg. Fritz Hansen also produced Piet Hein’s super-elliptical table. In 1982, the company acquired the rights to a large part of Poul Kjærholm's furniture collection. Other designers who worked for Fritz Hansen company include Hans Wegner, Cecile Manz, Piero Lissoni, Hiromichi Konno, Todd Bracher, Bruno Mathsson, Pelikan Design, Kasper Salto, Jehs+Laub among others.
