Maitland-Smith is an American company in High Point, North Carolina that has been producing furniture for nearly 40 years. Their design roots come from the English antiques of the 17th and 18th century as well as the adaptation of new styles, methods and materials from all over the world. Maitland-Smith's design portfolio ranges from porcelains, sophisticated finishing techniques, hand painting, marquetry, fine carved woodwork, leather, penshell & egg shell and many other sources. Some of the designers who have worked with Maitland-Smith include Tony Duquette, Celerie Kemble, Susan Hable, Donald Bustraan, Labarge and the Museums of New Mexico. Vintage Maitland-Smith Furniture Tables & Lamps remain popular today.
