An extremely rare Inkwell created by Aladin Porcelain of France to promote Charlie Chaplin's silent movie 'The Kid' in 1921. Jackie Coogan played the kid, and is represented as the figure on the lid, sitting on top of Skyscrapers. Around the body of the inkwell , shows billboards starring Jackie Coogan as The Kid. Under the lid, sits the original porcelain insert to hold the ink. There is a minute flea bite as seen in the last photo on the right of the orange billboard. Signed Aladin and Made in France.
