19th Century Hand-Painted Paris Porcelain Cachepots with Gilt Details

This elegant pair of 19th-century French porcelain cache-pots beautifully reflects the refined craftsmanship and decorative sophistication of Paris porcelain. Each cache-pot is richly adorned with hand-painted still-life scenes featuring colorful floral and botanical arrangements, beautifully framed and enhanced by extensive gilt decoration against a crisp white porcelain ground.
The cache-pots are classically modeled in an urn form with wide, gently rounded openings and raised circular bases, creating a graceful and substantial silhouette. The combination of delicate hand-painted decoration, bright white porcelain, and lavish gilding gives the pair a particularly sophisticated presence. Each cache-pot has been drilled underneath, while they remain equally attractive as decorative planters or cache-pots. Each piece measures approximately 7 1/2 inches high with a 9 3/8-inch diameter at the top opening. Both are in good condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, and bear maker’s marks and stamped markings underneath. A beautiful and versatile pair of 19th-century French porcelain, well suited for a mantel, console, entry table, or other elegant interior setting
