Description
This dark indigo ground example shows characteristic forked arabesques in ecru rather than the more usual red, along with ivory lazy petal palmettes. Rose and light blue details. Red main border of rosettes and reversing turtles. Ecru minors with simple palmettes and tilted barbed leaves. Kurdish town work with a very compact, compressed weave on wool. Good condition with a medium-fine weave.
