Description
This relatively modern west Persian Kurdish city carpet on cotton retains the traditional board-like hands and ultra-compact weave. The scarlet field is closely patterned with a small repeating Herati all supporting an octofoil navy medallion with vasiform pendants and an ivory octofoil sub-medallion. Discrete matching corners. Narrow navy border with petite reversing turtles. As new condition.
