"Laver" is the trade designation for particularly finely woven antique Kermans and this room size certainly measures up with an ivory field displaying an effulgent eight point cochineal medallion enclosing a rotate yet conforming ivory and navy sub-medallion series. Navy corners. Wide natural dye palette. Ivory border with volutes and acroterium palmettes. Finely woven on cotton. Kermans are somewhat out of style and they are excellent values at this time. Good condition.
