Description
This is a so-called "Lambalo' Kazak scatter from the SW Caucasus with a very narrow red field spottily ornamented with birds and an animal an embedded in five borders borrowed from large Lori-Pambok Kazak rugs. The red band shows stars and quartered octagons while the others present rosettes angular tendrils of attempts at a flip-flop meander. Dark blue yellow and green accents. Good condition. All-wool construction saturated palette.
