Description
The border system, centring on a cream stripe with stemmed flowers, has a light tonality contrasting with a rich royal blue field showing the strongly barbed diamond medallions enclosing eight point stars and floriated botehs, with more stars and botehs in the side and corner fillers. Single weft, cotton foundation, medium weave in symmetric knots, west Persian village origin. Fairly good condition.
