Description
This is a classic â€œAmerican style" West Persian village Sarouk carpet with a cranberry red field supporting a centralized, basically allover pattern of detached floral sprays detailed in teal, medium and dark blue and cream, with axial and corner vases. The navy border features tilted, jagged palmettes and smaller bell flowers, Double palmette corners. Flanking ivory minor borders. Cotton foundation, solid weave, leathery handle. Good condition.
