Enchanting mid century modern glass bowl or centerpiece from the 1970s in Germany. Painter and glass artist J.H. Richartz elaborately designed this breathtaking piece of glass art for the art collection of the renowned manufactory of "Mathildenhütte" Solingen. The mesmerizing patterns in shining turquoise, green and brown tones search for its equal and confer this mid century glass bowl an absolute unique appearance and a kind of maritime feeling. A very decorative, eyecatching mouthblown glass centerpiece from the 1970s which comes in perfect original condition. Signed "Richartz art collection" on the clear base.
