Description
Willy Rizzo trays, stainless steel, brass, signed. Set of 3 polished stainless steel nesting trays with brass inlay. The graduated measurements are: 5.5 inches 8.5 inches, and 11 inches. Handcrafted in Italy by Studio Willy Rizzo. Signed with brass signature plate on the felt backed verso of the largest tray. Born in Naples in 1928, Willy Rizzo began his career as a photographer in Paris, incredibly, at fourteen years old. By the mid 1960's, he had cemented his name in celebrity and fashion photography and opened a furniture design studio in Rome. By the early 1970's, his chic furniture and objects were in many Jet Set and Italian society homes. Imagination and strong modern style define his unique work and make him an icon in the art and design worlds.
