"Naked Tango" Artist Proof Print Signed Guillermo Kuitca

Offered for sale is a Guillermo Kuitca (Argentine b.1961) photogravure and screen print on paper collé. Signed, dated, Guillermo Kuitca’s Naked Tango (2004) is a limited edition mixed media print, created through photogravure and screen print on paper collé. Measuring 57 x 47 inches, the artwork features an abstract arrangement of black brushstrokes combined with outlined shoeprints. The shoeprints are positioned as though they are part of a choreographed dance, evoking the movements of a tango. The dynamic interplay between the brushstrokes and the footstep patterns creates a sense of motion and rhythm, while the sparse composition leaves room for interpretation. Kuitca's use of both abstract and representational elements invites the viewer to reflect on themes of movement, identity, and the spaces we inhabit. The piece is signed and dated by the artist.
