This dynamic and energetic Mid-Century Modernist Sculptural Splash Form Crystal Table Lamp is by Art Vannes and originates from France, Circa 1950. Features a body formed in two components of crystal with undulating forms that elegantly expand from the center creating a the effect of a splash, the base supporting the lamp and the upper form resting beneath the shade. The organic curvatures interact beautifully with the surrounding light and create a substantial and elegant presence. A striking piece rendered in the highest quality materials, this lamp will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, and in Excellent Vintage Condition. Accommodates Two Edison Based Bulbs offering 200 watts of light.
