Pair of magnificent large scale French Art Deco table lamps by Atelier Petitot consisting of silver plated metal, rosewood shaft and 3 silver plated bronze exotic birds sculptures on the base of the bulb. Silk Shades.
Bronze maker Antonin Petitot started his company in 1878 in Paris, selling wholesale lamps in Europe and to the United States. Petitot's son, Henri took over the shop in 1917. Along with Hettier et Vincent, Atelier Petitot became the largest producer of French art deco lighting in the early 1930s.
