Pair of Cedric Hartman Low Profile Floor Lamps, c. 1965
A rare pair of Cedric Hartman floor lamps featuring low-profile brass shades and adjustable stainless steel double stems, with solid brass T-form bases. Each lamp is stamped twice on the underside with the Cedric Hartman signature and a serial number.
These iconic lamps are part of the Museum of Modern Art collection and exemplify Hartman’s elegant, precision-engineered design.
Adjustable height: 35–41 inches
Base: 10.875-inch weighted bar base
Rotating shade with wide horizontal range
Uses 40W tubular frosted bulbs (E26 medium base)
Full-range electronic dimmer
Two-prong cord
Dimensions: 35–41 in high × 11 in wide × 16 in deep
Condition: Light surface scratches throughout; wear consistent with age and use. -
