Bronze Koi Lamp, 1970s

$ 1,200
  • Description
    Catch this lamp! Most likely made by Chapman, this piece captures the playful elegance of 1970s decorative design. Cast in polished and patinated bronze, the koi fish leaps with remarkable energy - tail arched, mouth open - mounted on a wooden base. These whimsical lamps are celebrated for their hand-crafted quality and sculptural flair, and examples of this scale and artistry are increasingly hard to find. Topped with a woven rattan shade that adds texture and warmth, this lamp is both a functional lighting piece and a collectible work of art. So weird, and I love it.
