Description
This rare floor lamp with integrated table was designed by Charles Dudouyt and produced in France in the late 1940s. Made from solid oak, the piece reflects Dudouyt’s characteristic use of carved wood and straightforward, well-proportioned forms.
The lamp features a turned central column with repeating faceted carvings, creating a structured vertical profile. A circular oak table is integrated at mid-height, offering a practical surface while maintaining a cohesive design. The tabletop is carved with concentric ring detailing and has a subtly rounded edge, highlighting the natural grain of the wood.
The base is circular and similarly carved with concentric rings, providing stability and visual continuity with the table surface. The lamp is fitted with a new cylindrical shade executed in ivory 100% Loro Piana linen, which complements the warm tone of the oak.
The piece is in very good condition, showing a natural patina consistent with age and use. Renewed shade and renewed wiring. Currently with a standard E26/E27 bulb fitting and 220V wiring/plug. -
