Description
This rare table lamp was designed by Einar Johansen and produced by Søholm Stentøj on the Danish island of Bornholm in the 1960s. The lamp is engraved with the manufacturer’s name on the underside of the base.
The striking design consists of a square base decorated with four softly sculpted ridges on each side and a long, tapered neck. The ceramic base is finished in a slightly glossy, gradient pale blue-gray glaze. The tapered lampshade is a custom design in a light grey fabric, coordinating with the tone of the ceramic base.
The lamp has been rewired and fitted with a standard E26/E27 bulb socket and a 220V European plug. It's in very good condition with a renewed shade.
Specified dimensions:
Total height including shade: 55 cm / 21.7 in
Height of the base only (excluding shade): 31 cm / 12.2 in
Diameter of the shade: 17.5 cm / 6.9 in
Dimensions of the base: 11.5 x 11.5 cm / 4.5 in -
