Description
This rare table or desk lamp was designed by Erik Wärnå in the 1950s. It was produced by his company EWÅ in Värnamo, Sweden. The lamp is signed with the manufacturers stamp on the underside. This Swedish Modern design is marked by the rounded base and adjustable shade in a black lacquered metal. The shade with decorative perforations in the lower rim, which creates a lovely effect with the light on. The angular arm is made of brass with a grooved structure. The shade cap and adjustable mechanical joint are made of brass as well. The lamp is in very good original condition, the brass with a natural and even patina. The wiring has been renewed and the lamp is fully functioning. Currently with a 220V plug and regular E26/E27 fitting.
