Ferruccio Laviani "Bourgie" Crystal Table Lamp for Kartell, Italy

An iconic Bourgie table lamp designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Kartell, Italy, executed entirely in transparent crystal-clear polycarbonate. One of Kartell’s most recognizable lighting designs, the Bourgie combines the elaborate silhouette of a Baroque candlestick with the transparency and industrial precision of contemporary Italian design.

Laviani reinterprets traditional Baroque ornament through molded transparent polycarbonate, creating an elaborate scrolling base that visually disappears and reappears as it catches and refracts light. Condition: Good overall condition with wear consistent with age and use. Minor surface scratches, scuffs and small marks are present to the clear polycarbonate, including some marks to the shade, as documented in the photographs.
