Description
This rare floor lamp was produced in Sweden in the 1950s. It was manufactured by FMK Belysning, and the base is impressed with the manufacturer’s initials, FMK, along with the model number 33.
The striking design is marked by tall, slender profile defined by a straight brass stem rising from a light, tripod base. The base features three gently scrolling legs that curve outward and end in small ball feet, adding a subtle decorative touch.
The cylindrical shade is a custom design made in a pale cream Colefax & Fowler silk, allowing for a pleasant and soft light distribution.
The base is in fully original condition with a natural patination of the brass. If a more shiny/even look is prefereed, the brass can be polished. The shade is new. Currently with 220V European wiring and a regular E26/E27 bulb fitting.
Dimensions:
Total Height including shade 161 cm / 63.4 in
Base Height excluding shade 116 cm / 45.7 in
Shade Diameter 30 cm / 11.8 in
Base Dimensions: 40x36 cm / 15.7 x 14.2 in -
