French Pair of Gilt Bronze Louis XVI-Style Three-Light Candelabra Table Lamps

An elegant pair of antique French gilt bronze table lamps, crafted during the mid to late 19th century in the refined Louis XVI style. Each lamp takes the form of a three-arm candelabra, beautifully combining classical ornament with charming figural decoration and the luxurious appearance of finely gilded bronze.
Each lamp features a graceful sculptural maiden dressed in period attire, standing upon a finely detailed footed bronze base and holding a decorative basket in each hand. Rising from the figure are three elegantly scrolling candelabra arms, creating a balanced and symmetrical composition reminiscent of traditional French lighting designs. The richly gilt surface enhances the intricate details of the figures, arms, and bases while providing a warm, sophisticated appearance.
Each lamp measures approximately 10 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 4 inches deep. The accompanying round linen/silk shades measure approximately 7 inches high, 14 inches in diameter, and 4 inches across the top. Their compact yet elegant proportions make the pair particularly versatile for placement on a console, side table, commode, bedroom nightstands, or a pair of occasional tables.
The lamps are in great working condition and require no special light bulbs. Their combination of sculptural figural decoration, classical Louis XVI-inspired design, gilt bronze construction, and elegant proportions makes them particularly attractive examples of French decorative lighting from the 19th century.
