Description
This rare table lamp was designed by Harald Notini and produced by Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik in Sweden. The model is numbered '15409' and was produced in the 1940s. It's documented in the Böhlmarks catalogue.
The design featured a circular brass base resting on four brass legs in reeded brass. Reeded and corrugated brass details throughout the base, leading to the tapered column in solid elm wood. The tapered lamp shade has been renewed in a smooth, very pale yellow-beige fabric, complemented by a removable fabric diffuser placed on top. A brass finial mounted above the shade completes the elegant design.
The lamp is in very good condition, with the brass exhibiting a natural, even patina. It comes with a renewed shade and is fitted with a 220V European plug. The lamp is compatible with a standard E26/E27 bulb. -
