Description
This exceptionally rare five arm pendant light was designed by Kai (Kari) Ruokonen in the early 1970s. The lamp was produced by the Finnish manufacturer Lynx. The impressive design consists of a funnel shaped ceiling cup and a central stem leading to a cylinder shaped centre, all in brass. The five cylinder shades are made of of six brass rings in a vertical position. This allows for a very beautiful and distinct light distribution once the lamp is switched on. We also have a three arm version of the same model available.
The lamp is in very good original condition, with a natural and beautiful patina on the brass. The lamp uses three bulbs with a regular E26/E27 fitting, maximum recommended wattage is 40W per bulb or the equivalent in LED. -
