This elegant signed Kelby Mid-Century Modern table lamp was realized in the United States circa 1960. It features a cylindrical body that flares slightly towards its base with a rich craqueleur white ceramic glaze. The surface of the lamp has been hand embellished with undulating black bands with dots, recalling a panoply of associations from piano keys and dominos to a footbridge. The abstract form is simple and sophisticated, and offers a beautiful formal contrast to the organic aesthetic of the finish. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful attention to detail, this lamp would be a wonderful addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition.
