One of a kind Large Clear Murano Glass Rods with Brass Frame Tiered Oval Chandelier, Italy, 2024. This oval chandelier is comprised of hundreds of hand-casted clear Murano glass rods that surround a frame in a tiered configuration. Each clear Murano glass rod is attached to the frame with a brass cap in descending order of large to small size. The light emanates from inside the glass structure and creates a bright but jeweled effect. Translucent glass plates on the bottom of the chandelier protect and covers the interior workings of the chandelier. Chandelier is suspended from 2 brass rods and a rectangular brass canopy. Interior frame of chandelier is made of steel (due to weight) and painted to match the exterior brass elements. A truly remarkable and classic piece with a modern edge. This chandelier is on display at the Gallery at 200 Lex at the New York Design Center. Measurements: 60" W x 14" D x 38" H (19.5" Top of Glass to Canopy and 18.5" is height of chandelier body). Canopy measures 23.5" W x 4" D x 1 5/8" H)
