Elegant and sculptural, this pair of handcrafted Murano glass sconces features a refined "coppo" form—named for its resemblance to the curved tile shape found in traditional Italian architecture. The tall, fluted glass shades are rendered in a soft white translucent finish, delicately accented with 23k gold flecks that are incorporated to the glass during the melting process and that shimmer subtly when lit. Each sconce is mounted with polished unlacquered brass brackets, adding a timeless metallic warmth that complements the ethereal quality of the glass. This pair of sconces is on display at the Gallery at 200 Lex at the New York Design Center.
