Description
This stunning pair of mid-century modern ceramic table lamps epitomizes the refined Scandinavian design ethos championed by Lotte & Gunnar Bostlund. Handcrafted in Denmark circa 1960, the lamps feature sleek, cylindrical silhouettes, rendered in a soft off-white glaze that exudes timeless elegance and understated sophistication.
Adding to their allure, the shades are beautifully formed in white spun cotton twine, achieving a striking material contrast with the ceramic bodies. The organic texture of the twine complements the smooth, glazed ceramic bases, creating a harmonious interplay of form and materials. True to the Bostlund legacy, these lamps blend artistry and utility, making them ideal for living rooms, bedside tables, or offices seeking subtle yet iconic design. Quintessentially Danish in their craftsmanship, this pair is a testament to the enduring appeal of mid-century modern design. Newly rewired to American Standards, these lamps accommodate one edison base bulb each achieving up to 100 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
