Description
This striking pair of table lamps was produced by Malmö Metallvarufabrik AB in Sweden in the 1950s. This particular model was numbered 76625.
The design features a square raised base resting on four square feet, all in brass. A tubular brass central stem is decorated with four cylinder-shaped elements in a beautiful blue-toned glass. The square lamp shades are designed to echo the shape of the base and are made of an ivory, silk-textured fabric.
The lamps are in very good condition, with a natural patina on the brass and newly replaced shades. They are currently wired with a 220V European plug and fitted with a standard E26/E27 bulb fitting.
Specified Dimensions: Total height including shade: 57 cm / 22.44 inches Height of the base only (excluding shade): 43.5 cm / 17.13 inches Dimensions of the shade: 20.5 x 20.5 cm / 8.07 x 8.07 inches Dimensions of the base: 12 x 11 cm / 4.72 x 4.33 inches -
