Description
Very rare table lamp designed and produced by Olof Heijke in Stockholm, Sweden, circa 1930s. The lamp retains the original manufacturer’s stamp on the underside of the base.
The design features a sculptural globe-shaped base crafted from solid wood and hand-lacquered in a rich green finish. The coloration is applied in a subtle gradient, transitioning from deep forest green to brighter emerald tones, giving the surface exceptional depth and character. The lamp is fitted with a nickel-plated metal stem and bulb socket, accented by a refined porcelain ring detail. The lamp is complemented by a newly crafted tapered clip-on shade, executed in an elegant ivory Métaphores fabric. The finely textured textile provides a soft, neutral contrast to the vivid lacquered base.
The lamp is in very good condition, with updated 220V wiring and a newly replaced shade.
