Description
A rare and spectacular pair of wall lights from the 1970s, designed in 1975 by Roberto Pamio and Renato Toso for Leucos in Italy. Stripped down to its essential elements, these lamps consist of just two components: a 90-degree upward-curving brass arm and a mouth-blown hemispherical lampshade crafted from thick white Murano glass. The shade is adorned with three vibrant glass bands in red, orange, and yellow, adding striking color accents. It rests atop the lamp and can also be tilted.
These sconces were produced in only a small series for a short period and were never reissued, making them rare and exclusive.
The lights are in good condition with a beautiful patina on the brass. They can be mounted directly on the wall or you can use the included white wooden backplates (diameter 6.5“). Each light features three E14 sockets and has been newly rewired. For seamless worldwide use, they come with discreet, invisible E14-to-E12 adapters, ensuring compatibility with standard electrical systems in various regions (USA, EU, etc.).
Please note that the dimensions of the lampshades may vary slightly. This should not be seen as a flaw but rather as a typical and completely normal characteristic of handmade craftsmanship.
In our opinion, one of the most stunning sconces ever created—an exceptional example of Italian craftsmanship.
We also have a matching floor lamp in stock.
