Stilnovo is founded in Milan by Bruno Gatta in 1946.
In December 1946 Stilnovo made its first appearance in Domus, where two table lamps and a brass tray were published. In 1949 Bruno Gatta's brother Paolo joined the company.
Stilnovo reaches the height of success at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. During this period he collaborated with high-profile architects and designers on several projects, among these designers there are also Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Melchiorre Bega, Gae Aulenti, Joe Colombo and Ettore Sottsass.
Pair of wall lamps designed by Stilnovo in '50s. This couple of lamps have a chromed metal structure and the diffusers are in satined glass. This design of course remembers something of the famour Pallone Wall Lamps designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni.
Good condition, fully working, fully original.
We recommend a wooden crate for the shipping of the diffusers in glass.
The light can be rewired for US standards upon request.
