Description
This elegant table lamp was designed and produced in Sweden in the late 1930s. The decorative design is crafted entirely from solid brass, which has developed a beautiful, even patina over time. The central column features a finely reeded brass design that leads to a circular base. The base, slightly raised on three sphere shaped legs, is adorned with fluted brass detailing, forming a sophisticated radial pattern that widens gracefully toward the edges. The craftsmanship and techniques used in the brass design reflect the high quality of the material and the expertise of its maker. The coolie-shaped shade, custom made in a smooth, ivory-colored fabric, is secured with a classic bulb clip fitting.
The lamp has been rewired and currently comes with a European 220V plug and a regular E26/27 fitting. Maximum recommended wattage is 40W or the equivalent in LED. Specified dimensions: Total height (including shade): 49 cm / 18.11 inches Height of the base: 36.5 cm / 14.37 inches Diameter of the base: 16 cm / 6.3 inches Diameter of the shade: 35 cm 13.78 inches at the widest point (bottom of shade) -
