Description
This elegant floor lamp was produced in Sweden in the late 1940s.
The frame is entirely executed in solid stained birch wood. The lamp features a circular, slightly raised base with carved ring details throughout. The central shaft is made in a bamboo stem shape. The high quality of the materials and the intricate techniques used perfectly illustrate the craftsmanship of the maker. The top arm of the lamp is in a patinated metal and can be adjusted to different heights, ranging from 146 to 180 cm (57.48 inches to 70.87 inches). The shade can be adjusted into different angles as well. The fabric shade has been recovered linen textured, ivory fabric. The adjustable height, angle and the pleasant light distribution make this a perfect reading lamp as well.
The lamp is in very good original condition. E26/E27 Bulb fitting, currently wired for EU use (220V). Rocker light switch located on the socket. -
