Description
This rare tall table lamp was produced by Tranås Stilarmatur AB in Sweden in the 1960s. The lamp is marked with the manufacturer's sticker next to the bulb holders. Made of solid teak wood, the circular base and tapered central stem both have three carved ring details, which gives the design an additional profiled detail. The renewed cone shaped shade is a custom design in a beautifully linen textured fabric. The ivory/offwhite color of the fabric offers a nice contrast with the warm color of the teak wood. The combination of the elegant base with the striking tall shade give the lamp a unique appearance. The lamp has two bulb holders and two individual light switches mounted on the teak wood. Wiring has been renewed, currently with a 220V European plug.
