Elegant mid-century Italian shield-shaped wall mirror in brass with scroll crest, Italy, circa 1950s. The mirror features a refined shield-form silhouette with gently curved sides and a softly rounded lower point, framed by a slender brass surround. It is surmounted by an expressive hand-formed brass crest composed of scrolling and looped decorative elements.

The whimsical scrollwork crest adds a distinctly Italian character, balancing ornate detailing with the clean, graceful geometry of the shield-shaped frame. The original mirrored glass exhibits attractive age-related foxing and oxidation, enhancing its authentic vintage patina and visual depth. The mirror plate can be replaced if desired.
