Designed by Gio Ponti, with probable production by Il Labrinto, rare and important full length wall mirror, Italy, 1930s. Executed in richly figured walnut, the frame is surmounted by a striking cast brass crest with a nickel-plated finish, set above its original beveled mirror plate and finished walnut backing. The rectangular form has a lovely silhouette, crowned by an elegant cymatium of overlapping arches. Notable for its unusually large, full-length scale—seldom encountered—this piece demonstrates a strong architectural presence and sculptural refinement. A superb example of Italian Art Deco craftsmanship, it combines refined materials with exceptional hand-crafted detail.
