Description
Designed in 1971 by celebrated American designer Charles Pfister for Knoll, this iconic lounge chair exemplifies the restrained elegance and timeless sophistication that became the hallmark of Pfister's work. Designed with clean architectural lines and luxurious comfort in mind, the chair remains one of Knoll's most enduring modern seating designs.
Upholstered in its original cream leather, the chair features generously proportioned cushions framed by broad square arms that create a bold geometric silhouette. The concealed square metal legs give the chair a floating appearance, emphasizing its low-profile stance while maintaining exceptional visual lightness. This balance of sculptural form and inviting comfort makes it equally suited for residential and commercial interiors.
Perfect for contemporary, modernist, minimalist, and luxury interiors, the chair works beautifully as a living room lounge chair, library chair, office seating, or bedroom accent. Its understated design allows it to complement interiors ranging from Mid-Century Modern and Postmodern to Contemporary and Transitional spaces.
The chair retains its original Knoll manufacturer's label, confirming its authenticity.
