Description
- An iconic set in mint condition, these 4 vintage MR10 Chairs were designed by Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe in the mid twentieth century.
- Stunningly graceful with a cantilevered seat, this is the perfect set of side or dining chairs for a wide range of spaces, from coastal dining room to modern city apartment.
- The original rattan seats are in excellent condition and provide a warm, textural counterpoint to the polished steel frame.
- Mies Van Der Rohe was born in Germany in 1886. An architect by training, he was a contemporary of midcentury giants like Le Corbusier and Walter Gropius. His designs balance minimalist perfection with a passion for texture, rich materials and surfaces. He is remembered for his influential tubular steel furniture, iconic office buildings (like New York's Seagram Building), and oft-quoted maxims, "Less is more" and "God is in the details."
- This set of 4 chairs is in mint vintage condition with their original Stendig labels. There are minor signs of wear on the steel frames. Please see our detailed photos. -
